What happens at the Free Consultation?

The most important thing is that we’ll get to meet each other! And during our time together, you’ll receive a short presentation on what image consultancy’s all about, so that you can understand what we do, and how you’d benefit.

Naturally you’re welcome to ask any questions that you have. Or if you have any concerns, we can talk them through. For example, some people might be worried they have to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes (no, you don’t have to do that!), or have a body part that they think is impossible to disguise.

Consultations are usually held at a nearby cafe so that we can enjoy a coffee, tea, juice, or whatever else takes your fancy.

Is there a catch? Why is the consultation free?

Image consultancy is still quite a young industry in New Zealand; this way you’ll get to hear first hand what it’s all about, and how it can help you.

Style consultancy is also a very personal service, so it’s important that you choose a stylist that you have a good rapport with. This way you can suss us out before spending a cent!

There’s no obligation to go ahead and use our services, but your honest feedback on whether you’re interested would be very much appreciated.

Can I prepare for the Consultation? Do I need to bring anything?

You don’t need to bring anything unless you have a burning question you’d like to ask. Some clients bring photos of their favourite outfits along, but that’s by no means essential.

It is important that you have a think about your image goals, and that’s something we’ll talk through when we meet.

What happens after the Free Consultation?

I’ll follow up with you to get feedback from you, and will ask you if you’d like to go ahead or not.
